Method Two
With this method you DO NOT need a website.
Once you have signed up with Plimus you will need to request to become an Affiliate of EasyAs as discussed previously. Nothing changes with this process, you will still need to be authorized as an affiliate (reseller of EasyAs).
With Method Two we will give you a voucher number. We will assign you a personal voucher number that is recorded against your name.
This has been implemented to allow those who purchase the software whom may refer other people via word of mouth to our website, a way of enjoying some of the benefits of referring. We note that many of our existing clients don't worry about this and simply choose to refer people anyway. But it's here if you want to cash in.
We prefer only to allow those who are using our software to partake in this method, only because we feel you cannot recommend something by word of mouth that you do not indorse yourself, if you are not using the software, how can others be confident in the product. We will take everyone requesting to partake in method 2 on an individual basis..
The voucher number allows visitors whom you send to EasyAs to obtain a discount on the price of the software.
Once they enter the voucher number at the time of purchase, it is automatically checked and recorded against your name, thus ensuring you gain the commission.
Please note: if the voucher number is not used at the time of purchase you will not get the commission recorded against you. However the client will also not receive a discount, so if a client has been given a voucher number, they will usually use it, as everyone loves a discount.
We look at it like this:
If you were to say to a friend, co-worker, some you met on a job site etc... that you use a fantastic accounting program called EasyAs Accounting Software, and then tell them that they can get a free 30 day trial, and that you also received a voucher number when you purchased the software that will give them 10% off when they buy it.
Most people will jump at the chance to get a 10% discount, we all like saving money, no matter how small it is. Its human nature.
So once they enter the code to get the 10% discount, and it is automatically recorded against your name.
Commission Rate
The rate of commission you personally receive with this method is 20%.
10% discount to the customer, 20% to you, means a total of 30% from us.
Whilst you may be thinking, "that sucks", just because you don't have a website, it is still the fairest way to achieve a reasonable outcome.
This places everyone on an even playing field. Because if we were to reduce our profit even further and give a 10% discount and a 30% commission, it would not be fair to those whom activity promote our software on their website as you would be receiving an unfair advantage by being able to provide a discount and the full rate of commission.
With our affiliate methods it means that you can switch and change at any time. If you find yourself down the track with webspace you can easily place a link on your site.
It also means that those with websites can use the link on their site in the normal manner and also provide a voucher number to clients of their choice. Which means that if a client returns to purchase the software and their affiliate number is recorded in the cookie they will naturally get the sale. But if that client also uses a voucher number, they will get a 20% commission not the 30%.
Ways to Promote Method 2
Obviously some of our Affiliates will not want to activity take part in any form of promotion or reselling of any kind. We understand this. As some of our resellers are simply people whom purchased the software for their own use and simply want to make the commission if they send someone our way.
We also know that in some cases, you only became an affiliate as you know that sooner or later you would get the opportunity to send people our way, and you may as well make some extra cash which will pay back some of the purchase price of the software....
Apart from activity promoting on a website, you can simply send an email to a friend or co-worker etc, telling them about the software and that they can get a free trial direct from the site, and if they purchase the software they can get a 10% discount. By sending them the voucher number and the website information at the same time, they will remember the 10% and will usually make sure they have the voucher number ready at time of purchase.
Maybe you are in an organization that gives you the unique opportunity to include the information and voucher number on a mail out or newsletter or something.
The thing to remember is that you will receive a voucher number and you can give that to anyone who may be thinking about accounting software, and if they use it at the time of purchase, you will automatically receive a 20% commission... It doesn't get any easier than that..
You can chose the name of your voucher, so the voucher can be your surname or something easy to remember, or something that has meaning to you.
Remember, treat all your dealings and promotions like any other business activity. By doing this you will attract more people to our software and in the process you will make some very good profit. And lets face it, we love money, and I am sure you do too...
