EasyAs Accounting Software ADDITIONAL AFFILIATE INFORMATION |
With this method you will need to place a link on your website for potential clients to click on. The Plimus software will register on the clients pc that they clicked to view our software from your site, which means you get the commission if the client purchases after the trial period.
This means that you will be promoting our software on your website, but you do nothing else but place a link for visitors to click on. This could be as simple as supplying a text link to our site, a banner advertisement or a product overview promoting the product.
With this method you will receive 30% for any sales made as a result of people clicking the link on your site and purchasing our software.
If a potential client finds our website as a result of clicking a promotional link on your website, and purchases the software then you will be credited with the commission on sale.
Please see the Plimus agreement and support documentation for a complete outline of this process and how it effects you and your credited commissions.
Once you open and account with Plimus and become one of our affiliates you will receive and email with the link (url) which you place on your site. This url is part of the click process. You use this on your site where the potential client clicks with their mouse. The url will take the client to our website and at the same time it will record your details so you receive the commission.
This information is also available when you log into your Plimus Account. Remember that the url contains your Personal Plimus Account Code, this means you receive credit for the purchase if a client whom clicks on your link purchases our software at the end of the trial period.
Due to obvious reasons we must see and approve your website prior to commencing.
We will not approve any website that has the potential of bringing our good name in repute or websites that exist primarily as a click through site with little or no internet value.
The reason we do not like click through sites is because search engines place a red cross against these sites and any site linked to it, which means you will soon find yourself moving backwards in the search engines as people without crosses move ahead of you.
Also we will never approve any affilate links on any websites that promote hatred, violence or similar such unworthyness.
You place a link on your site, with the necessary code which points to our plimus software contract, your affiliate number, and our website.
A potential client then clicks the link on your website, which then activates a cookie on their computer and at the same time sends the client to our website. From here they can either purchase the software or download and use the software for the trial period.
Obviously unless they are returning to purchase, we expect that most potential clients will download the software as a trial. Once the trial period expires, and they decide to purchase the software, they will return to our website to carry out the purchase.
When they click on the purchase link on our site they will be redirected to the secure merchant purchasing page. During this process the clients machine will provide Plimus with the details of the cookie which was previously activated when the client first clicked your website link. Thus ensuring that you receive your commission for you part of the transaction.
Please see the Plimus agreement and support documentation for a complete outline of this process and how it effects you and your credited commissions.
Once your website has been approved, Your Plimus Account will display the code necessary for your website link. You need only copy and paste this link to your website.
Please feel free to contact us should you want some additional assistance, and information on how to promote our software on your site.
Remember, treat all your dealings and promotions like any other business activity. By doing this you will attract more people to our software and in the process you will make some very good profit. And lets face it, we love money, and I am sure you do too...
